The Setting: Veewz is a Digital Marketing Agency that offers clients to pick and choose the services they need on a price per tactic for SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, Social Media and more. I worked on a team of 5 that researched, strategized, and implemented SEO initiatives for the company.

The Problem: Veewz was transitioning from targeting companies all over the globe to wanting to focus on targeting locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. Veewz needed help to reach their target audience organically.


The Characters:

Customer Research, Keywords Research, and Competitive Analysis to best understand new target audience/persona


Off-Page SEO:

Establishing local relevancy through the use of online directories; researching, documenting, and implementing Veewz onto directories and using location-specific keywords to reach our target audience. Optimized Google My Business listing.

Content Strategy:

Blog to incorporate keywords used by our persona.

Point of View: Data and Analytics

Reported on a weekly bases data via Google Analytics and SEMRush to build a full picture of what was working and what was not. Identified key KPI’s and metrics that were relevant to goals.

Local SEO

Technical SEO:

Technical SEO to organically reach our target audience. Updated HTML, collaborated on providing suggestions for image optimization, robots.txt, alt tags, etc.



The Theme:

Working for Veewz was extremely rewarding for me. During this internship, I collaborated often with the CEO, the other SEO interns, and the social media team. I learned how to work as collective so that we could reach the company’s goals. There were many things I had to learn because this internship required me to touch multiple areas of marketing that I did not have much experience in before. Eventually I understood that each area of marketing facilitates the growth of each other.
