The Setting: CitrusBits is a mid-sized B2B mobile-app development company based in Pasadena, California. They offer services for business strategy, UI/UX design, mobile-app development, post-launch support, and VR/AR. I worked individually and consulted directly with the CEO and CMO.
The problem: The company gets their inquiries and potential customers through their Contact Page. However, very few people were actually visiting their page compared to the rest of their website. They my needed help to design a marketing plan that would help them get more unique visitors on their landing page.
The Character:
After consulting with the stakeholders to understand their company and their market, I created a customer persona and customer journey map for them.

I devised a plan for the company to achieve their marketing goals.
I clearly laid out the plan using SMART goals, KPI’s, and metrics, and explained what tactics I would use to increase unique visitors

All marketing plans need to prove to stakeholders that they have a positive ROI. Using industry benchmarks, I calculated the financial gains for using this marketing plans to stakeholders.
The Theme:
Being a student consultant with CItrusBits has taught me the importance of having concise and specific marketing goals, and the importance of KPI’s and metrics. This experience opened my eyes to how useful data can be to paint the whole picture
